Wally Shoults is a retired US Marine Corps Recon Patrol Leader in Southeast Asia. He has conducted operational patrols in some of the roughest terrain in that part of the world. As a firearms instructor, Wally Shoults has been involved in firearms training and competitive action shooting events for over four decades.  Having worked as an adjunct instructor and range safety officer with a private tactical training organization he has been involved with basic, advanced and remedial training for law enforcement and specialized civilian groups as well as conceal carry, which has given him a broad base of experience and knowledge of the application of various weapons systems.

“As a former US Marine Corps small arms and combat tactics instructor at the 1st Marine Division Non-commissioned Officers Leadership School, Camp Pendleton, California, and as a five discipline firearms instructor, I have had the opportunity of working with many weapons platforms in military and law enforcement service. For years I was reluctant to acquire an AR platform rifle due to some if its previously less than stellar characteristics. Once I fired one of Nathan’s extreme environment rifles, I was sold. I own a Next Generation Arms carbine, and would not be the least bit hesitant to take it to war. It has exceeded all of my expectations .This rifle is a superb rat killer.”
